After being locked in a little closet of a room for her teenage years and being treated as a scullery maid, Jessica escapes to London and goes by Snow to hide from her family. But suddenly, Jessica’s father finds himself a new bride, and Jessica finds herself with an evil stepmother how is at first only strict, but then is murderously jealous of Jessica. Snow’s only friends are little animals and the servants’ kids who still are uncomfortable around her because she’s a duchess and apparently that makes a big difference. Her father ignores her to the point that he forgets he even has a daughter and leaves her to the care of the servants while she is growing up. When young Jessica, Duchess of Kenigh is born instead of a boy, her Father is outraged, and even more so because Jessica’s mother died giving Jessica life. ![]() Snow by Tracy Lynn was a fun, sweet, light-hearted twist on the classic Brothers Grimm tale, Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. ![]()
